Competition is fierce in the multiplayer space, to say the very least, but thanks to the license it’s carrying as well as how promising it’s looked thus far, the upcoming Marvel Rivals seems to be in a solid position to make a strong impression whenever it releases. Ahead of its release, developer NetEase Games has also provided some further details on some of its multiplayer features.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess might not be one of Capcom’s flagship, blockbuster releases, but it is the company’s next release, and having looked promising with its showings in the lead-up to launch, it’s generated a fair bit of excitement. Ahead of its imminent release, Capcom has offered extensive new details on the game.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess will take players to a Japanese-inspired setting, where your main goal will be to free the villages that you visit from the corruption that grips them. The game’s core loop will revolve around a day/night cycle, with daytime being spent to explore and restore villages, and nighttime being focused on combat.

Combat, meanwhile, will be focused on real-time strategy…

Pugstorm’s Core Keeper exited early access last month for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, adding new playstyles like summoning and content like a new end-game area and final boss. However, the developer promised more updates post-launch, including quality-of-life improvements. Patch 1.0.0.6 is available now and provides some much-needed buffs for minions.

Alongside doubling their lifespan, they also cost less mana to summon, meaning less time spent running around, waiting for your meter to recharge. The cost of summoning idols for the Giant Slime, Hive Mother, and Ghorm the Devourer have also been reduced.

Dragon Quest has never failed to sell well in Japan, and unsurprisingly, the recently-released Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake has got off to an impressive start in the region as well. As per data released by Famitsu for weekly hardware and physical sales in Japan, Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake was the bestselling game in the region last week, taking the top two spots in the charts upon launch.

Specifically, its Nintendo Switch version takes the top spot with over 641,000 units sold, while the PS5 version follows in second place with over 180,000 units sold. Collectively, the game has sold over 821,000 physical units at launch, making it the biggest game launch in Japan since last year’s The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, 

El Salvador players have alleged that they were approached by a businessman seeking to fix Tuesday s World Cup qualifier against Canada.

The squad held a press conference on Monday in which an audio recording was played that they insist proves their claim.

In the recording, it is alleged that a Salvadoran businessman outlines an offer from a Honduran associate to incentivise the players to get a result.

Manchester City advanced to the fourth round of the EFL Cup as second-half goals from Gael Clichy and Aleix Garcia secured a 2-1 victory over Swansea City, although Vincent Kompany appeared to pick up an injury late in the contest.
