NO agreement between Al-Ittihad and Kevin De Bruyne

Recent rumours suggested Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne had reached an agreement with Al-Ittihad over personal terms of a long-term contract. However, numerous sources have since played down the suggestion. Fabrizio Romano, for example, says no talks whatsoever have been held between the Belgian playmaker and the Saudi Pro League side. As things stand, he remains on course to run down his contract with City, which has entered its final 12 months.

The 33-year-old, who currently captains both Manchester City and Belgium, is the only regular member of the starting XI under Pep Guardiola who arrived at the Etihad before the Catalan tactician. He has six Premier League titles to his name, along with two FA Cups, five League Cups, two Community Shields, one Champions League, one UEFA Super Cup, and one FIFA Club World Cup. In a total of 382 matches in all competitions for the Sky Blues, he scored 107 goals and contributed 170 assists.

Saudi sources playing down reports about Kevin de Bruyne reaching an agreement with Al Ittihad — told it’s NOT true.

Al Ittihad are focused on Moussa Diaby deal, set to be sealed very soon.

Next step for Saudi club will be new goalkeeper with Éderson talks on but not easy.
